HAHA APRIL FOOLS!
I gotcha, didn’t I? With the end of March quickly approaching, it’s for everyone’s favorite spring holiday — I’m talking about April Fool’s Day baby! At the heart of April Fool’s Day is the playful, spontaneous nature of playing practical jokes on loved ones and strangers alike.
Having lived through 22 April Fool’s Days, there are some pranks that remain close to my heart and some that just need to get trashed & tossed. And what a better opportunity to share some foolproof Fool’s Day pranks with a few mischievous rascals than now! Here are five April Fool’s Day pranks that never cease to hoodwink the public.
-
Flour on the Fan
The messiest, insane pranks played on me is the little-known flour on the fan prank. As I stood right under the living room fan, naïve and desperate to look good for school, someone persuaded me to turn on the light and upon my flick white powder filled the air. My outfit turned white and my mom fell to the floor in a fit of laughter.
It was an epic prank that I dare you to try. Put flour across a ceiling fan, convince someone to stand under it, turn it on and watch flour rain from the sky. Warning: this is a messy prank and has the potential to break a relationship butttttttt, it is genius.

Tied Up TP
Make going to the bathroom a little harder by super-gluing down the loose end of a toilet paper roll and have your target spinning the roll endlessly! While you can’t watch this go down, I’m sure you’ll hear about it hours after. This April Fool’s joke is frustration in a nutshell and fairly quick to put together.
-
Bootleg Mint Oreos
Give your Fool’s Day target’s tastebuds a rude awakening when they bite into an Oreo filled with toothpaste. While they expect sweet cream, minty gel will coat their mouth instead. For a few chuckles, you only need to scrape the cream out of one Oreo but for a symphony of laughter, refill every other Oreo with toothpaste and have them play an Oreo-themed Bean Boozled challenge.
-
“We’re getting married”
That’s it, that’s the text.
TBH, a handful of people forget it’s April Fool’s Day so any text or call out-of-the-blue carries some weight. Nothing reignites the April Fool’s Day spark than getting unexpected marriage news from long-lost friends!
-
Whoopie Cushions EVERYWHERE
This is one of those Fool’s Day jokes that is just relentless. Go to your local dollar store, pick up a handful of whoopie cushions and rolls of bubble wrap and just put them everywhere. Under the welcome mat, dining room seats and the couch are great pranking places.
Be sure to get in on this prank early and don’t forget where the traps are or risk it all backfiring on you!
