Each season is a chance to revamp and refresh your life, and I’m here to help.

The witchy runways of New York, Paris, Milan etc. are the crystal balls of fashion. Staples of the runway including the various colors, textures and designs linger on the suburban streets for months to come. Here are some trending garments for 2021:
Tailored outerwear: Classic cut blazers that add a hint of “take me seriously, I’m wearing a boucle jacket” will never go out of style
Après-ski sweaters: Think unfashionable grandma, bold prints and unmatchable coziness
Saturated shades: Fall is generally splashed with reds, burnt oranges and browns but this year strong, saturated hues were all the rage
Midi Skirts: Since summer is no longer, now is the time to lengthen those skirts ladies… for fall, let’s take it to the calves
If you choose to scour the internet and find some of these hot seasonal items, be sure to buy environmentally friendly and support some small businesses when possible! Hit the refresh button on your closet and let’s celebrate the mid-50 degree weather.

Here’s where my brain has been since high school, summer = chaos, epic love sagas, self-confidence and dripping ice cream cones whereas fall = back-to-school, best behavior, dry pretzels and going back into a shy box, can anyone else relate? This year is going to be different though because that shy box is getting burnt down, yep all the way to the ground.
In order to carry hot girl summer into fall, make a new set of priorities that still encompass expression, confidence and self-worth. Perhaps your chill girl fall goals involve being more on top of your professional life or straightening out some romances you had on vacation. Reevaluate your goals and maybe plan out a bucket list trip.
Declutter All That Beach Gear
Autumn is an opportune time to organize and declutter your home before the temperature drops. No one wants to be taking round-trips to the dumpster in snowy weather! If you reselling items, this is the perfect time for a seasonal yard sale. Also, take advantage of Poshmark or Mercari and make money right on your phone.
Now is also a great time to invest in contemporary household utility items that you’ll have all year. September is an age of clean beginnings so start fresh.
Oh, and Don’t Forget the Festive Decor
Last but not least, throw up some fun Halloween decorations and get ready for spooky season (I personally love a good ol’ big, hairy spider in the bathroom)!

While it may bring tears to your eyes watching another summer close, fall is here and it’s time to fall back into the swing of things. Take advantage of the new fashion landscape and this season’s essence of rebirth. It’s about time hot apple cider and pumpkin patches come back into our lives… it was getting lonely without them!
